Who will review my design?
Every review is conducted personally by Eugene Kim, a mechanical design engineer with nearly 30 years of hands-on experience. We doesn’t outsource work, or pass it off to junior staff.
Do you use AI or automated tools in your review?
No. Design Audit Pro is 100% human-reviewed. We rely on engineering intuition stemming from decades of practical experience. If you’re looking for real-world insight, you’re in the right place.
Is my intellectual property safe with you?
Absolutely. We treat your designs with the utmost integrity and confidentiality. NDAs are standard, and we delete your engineering files once our services are completed.
What type of designs do you review?
Our specialty is in part design for various molding processes, but we have extensive experience with machined and sheet metal part designs. We also have intimate knowledge of plastic injection tool designs. We review mechanical CAD models, technical drawings, assemblies, and even hand sketches.
What is your experience with manufacturing processes?
We have experience with various manufacturing processes such as EDM, CNC machining, injection molding, transfer molding, rotational molding, grinding, coating, heat treating, stamping, etc.. We are not familiar with wafer etching process.
What file formats do you accept?
We can work with most standard CAD formats including STEP, IGES, and Parasolid. PDFs or clear screenshots are fine for sketches or concept-stage reviews.
How quickly will I get my review?
Design review lead-time depends on the complexity of the design and requested service(s). A simple one part design can have a turn-around time as short as 24 hours, but more complex designs or assemblies would take longer.
Do you offer ongoing or bulk review services?
Yes. If you have regular design cycles or multiple projects, we offer custom packages and long-term support agreements. Just reach out to discuss.
What if I need more than just a review—like help redesigning?
Design Audit Pro focuses on reviews only. We do not take on any redesign work, but we are open to advisory work that provides guidance during redesign phase.
